A day of hand stitching with a difference creating a nature inspired “patchwork sampler” from repurposed wood.
You will create your own individual patches embellished with your chosen natural treasures hand stitched into place. Your patches will then be stitched together to create your unique piece.
I will provide the wood for your “patches” and a great selection of natural bits & pieces for using but to make your finished piece even more personal you may wish to bring along your own collections of small, natural treasures.
I will provide you with suggestions on booking.
You may even wish to change the theme a bit. More industrial bits and pieces could be good – like pieces of rusty metal. You could use “treasures” picked up while out on one walk – everything from bits of (interesting) rubbish to seed heads or shells. Treasures picked up while beachcombing could be really interesting or things collected while walking through city streets or country lanes!
